How many rounds of design changes is enough?
Unlimited revisions sound kind. They usually slow the work and blur decisions.
Why rounds exist
Design rounds turn feedback into progress. Two or three structured passes — concept, refinement, polish — are enough for most marketing sites when the brief was clear up front.
What “enough” looks like
Enough means stakeholders saw the direction early, major pages were reviewed together, and remaining notes are small. Endless micro-tweaks after approval are a process smell, not craft.
How to use your rounds well
Collect feedback in one place, decide as a group, and separate “taste” from “this misses the brief.” Modern tools and advanced code cannot replace a decision. They can only implement one cleanly.
