How to choose a web partner

Pick for process and proof, not for the flashiest slide deck.

Ask how they start

A strong partner can explain discovery, who writes copy, how many design rounds are included, and what “done” looks like. Vague answers early become vague delivery later.

Look at live work, not only mockups

Open real sites on your phone. Check load feel, forms, and whether the work still looks intentional three years on. Ask who owns the domain, hosting, and source files when the project ends.

Fit matters as much as craft

You want modern tools and advanced code — and a team that answers the same day, speaks plainly about scope, and will say no when a request hurts the product. Chemistry on the first call is data, not fluff.
